PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AMSOIL Synthetic Water Resistant Grease (GWR) is an extreme-pressure, multipurpose grease formulated specially for wet-duty performance. Its water washout and sprayoff resistance are ideal for wheel bearings of vehicles and trailers frequently exposed to water, mud, snow or ice. It is also excellent for use in plants, such as paper mills, in which machinery undergoes frequent or prolonged exposure to water.

Water Washout and Sprayoff Protection
AMSOIL Synthetic Water Resistant Grease derives its superior wet-duty performance from its peerless cohesiveness and adhesiveness. It holds together when exposed to water and clings tenaciously to metal surfaces when wet. Components remain protected during prolonged exposure to standing water or exposure to pressurized water.

Rust and Corrosion Protection
AMSOIL Synthetic Water Resistant Lithium Complex Grease protects metal surfaces from rust and corrosion, both of which may be hastened or worsened by frequent or prolonged water contact. It seals metal surfaces against rust and chemically fights corrosion.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road Grease (GPOR1, GPOR2) combines an over-based calcium-sulfonate complex thickener and proprietary synthetic polymeric technology to provide outstanding performance in heavy duty off-road applications.

AMSOIL developed an exclusive synthetic polymeric system custom-built to provide performance benefits specific to off-road equipment. This synthetic technology helps give AMSOIL Off-Road Grease tenacious cling ability and maximum pound-out resistance over extended service intervals, even in wet environments.

EXTREME IMPACT RESISTANCE
Greased components in heavy equipment are subjected to serious abuse. Virtually all heavy-duty off-road equipment operates under heavy-load conditions. The extreme impact common to off-road equipment forces all of that heavy load (pressure) onto places where the equipment pivots, relying on the grease to prevent metal-to-metal contact. Lesser quality greases cannot withstand the load and are pounded out of the impact area. When pound-out occurs, heavily loaded components are left unlubricated, which can result in metal-to-metal contact and extreme amounts of wear.

AMSOIL Off-Road Grease’s exclusive synthetic polymeric technology provides exceptional adhesion (ability to cling to components) and cohesion (ability to cling to itself) properties. It resists pound-out and significantly reduces the amount of grease ejected during repetitive pounding action. Field test results show that AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road Grease reduces grease consumption by up to 50 percent. That allows operators to either maintain their current maintenance schedule and use up to 50 percent less grease per application, or extend the length of time between re-greasings by up to 50 percent. AMSOIL GH Series Heavy Duty EP grease is composed of synthetic base oils and lithium-complex thickeners that provides the film strength, shear resistance, and mechanical stability critical to high load protection. This combination excels in high and low operating temperature ranges by providing excellent oxidation stability, high temperature dropping points and good low temperature torque values and pumping capabilities. AMSOIL Heavy Duty EP Grease is compounded with oxidation and corrosion inhibitors, effective oil soluble EP additives and molybdenum disulfide (moly) solid EP additives for all around protection in severe conditions.

AMSOIL Heavy Duty EP Grease is formulated with a top performing lithium complex thickener system that provides excellent water resistance as identified by the ASTM D-1264 water washout test. NLGI #2 (GLC) is the preferred choice for medium to high ambient temperatures, sleeve type bushings, high shock loading environments, wet environments and wheel bearings and other automotive applications.

The correct consistency grade of AMSOIL Synthetic Multi-Purpose Grease is recommended in heavy and light duty applications found in manufacturing plants, automobiles, agricultural and construction equipment.

These include, but are not limited to, roller bearings, plain bearings, thrust bearings, gears, electric motors, presses, winches, bushings, wheel bearings, chassis lubrication, universal joints, ball joints, tie-rod ends, and steering knuckles. AMSOIL Synthetic Multi-Purpose Greases are suitable for use up to 350 degrees F. When operating at elevated temperatures, frequent regreasing may be required.

AMSOIL Synthetic Multi-Purpose Greases are compatible with many other types of greases. However, it is recommended that when changing greases, the equipment be cleaned of the old grease when possible or flushed with a liberal amount of Multi-Purpose Grease while the mechanism is in operation. Closely monitor the system for any inconsistencies. Grease compatibility questions should be referred to your AMSOIL representative or AMSOIL Inc.
